Redwood Road Widening Project
Monday, March 31, 2008
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is scheduled to begin work in April on a roadway project to widen SR-68 (Redwood Road) from Bangerter Highway to 400 South in Saratoga Springs. Construction on this project will widen SR-68 to two lanes in each direction with a center turn lane. It will also include widened shoulders and a bike lane in each direction. This project is estimated to last through fall of 2009.
Residents, businesses, and area motorists should expect lane restrictions, area travel delays and intermittent left and right turn restrictions. More project information regarding impacts will be provided as available. UDOT has employed a public information team to keep in touch with area businesses and residents throughout construction.
