Urban Design Committee

The City has established an Urban Design Committee that consists of persons appointed by the City Council including, but not limited to, a professional architect, a professional builder, not less than two (2) City residents, a member of the Planning Commission, a member of the City Council, a developer, and City staff members as assigned.

This Committee is required to review architectural plans and design standards for any new construction within the City of Saratoga Springs and make recommendations to the Planning Commission and City Council.

This Committee will also propose detailed architectural design standards and guidelines, as requested by the City Council or Planning Commission that may be adopted as a part of the City’s land development code or General Plan.
