Local Performers Needed!!!
Do you have a group that would like to perform as part of our main Splash Celebration on Saturday, June 13th, 2009? Please contact the Entertainment Committee Chair at kthigbee@yahoo.com or 801-856-5873. We are looking for local dance studios, singing groups, martial arts academies, etc. Priority will be given to Saratoga Springs businesses until May 1, 2009.
5k Race Volunteer Opportunity!

Splash Events
"Saratoga's Got Talent"
Come show us what you've got!! This will be run much like the show "America's Got Talent". meaning that all talents in a particular age catogory will be competing against each other...singers, dancers, jugglers, soloists and groups will all participate together! Any and all talents are welcome...be creative and let's have some fun!! Show has been moved from Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Harvest Elementary to Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnival located at Harvest Hills Park (Across from Harvest Elementary.)
There will be three different competition categories; Children (10 and under), Pre-Teen/ Teen (11-17) and Adult (18 and up). 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be given in each category. There will also be a 'Mayor's Choice' Award and an Overall Grand Prize.
There is a $10.00 entry fee for the first person and $5.00 for each additional person per act.
Applications must be received by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Please register online at the link on the left of this page or deliver an application to the City Offices: Attn: Saratoga Splash, 1307 N. Commerce Dr Ste. 200 Saratoga Springs, UT 84045. You will receive a confirmation via email or phone.

Parade
Welcome to the 2009 Saratoga Splash Parade! The parade will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM. The theme this year is “Splash into Fun”.
Parade entries will line up along 400 North (road to new High School). The parade will travel west on 400 North, then north on 800 West (in front of the Sunrise Meadows Neighborhood). The parade ends at 1200 North. Total route is approximately 1 mile.
For those interested in entering, please make an effort to make your entries safe for all participants and for all attending the parade. Awards will be given in the following categories: Sweepstakes Award, Mayor’s Choice, Best of Theme, Best Commercial Entry, and Citizen’s Choice Award
